The logistics page has some details on the accommodation and travel information. Below are some frequently asked questions.

I am travelling with a family member. Can they stay with me?

No. Accommodation is ONLY offered to the participants and NOT for any accompanying person / family member.

I am coming from city A but returning to city B. Is that ok?

That should be ok. You may be asked to give a brief justification for the cities but you shouldn’t have to worry about it as anything reasonable should be ok.

I am not travelling by train. How do I find out how much travel reimbursement I am eligible for?

All participants are eligible for 3AC return fare between Mumbai and their place of origin. Even if you travel by a different mode of transport, you will be provided travel support up to the eligible 3AC return fare.

Participants using a mode of transport other than 3AC train will be asked to submit a screenshot of the corresponding price from IRCTC during the reimbursement process.

Can I get my taxi fare from the airport / train station reimbursed?

Yes, but only upon providing a receipt. For this purpose, please choose either the prepaid taxi or Uber / Ola etc. for your tax so that you can provide a suitable invoice for reimbursement.

For your return travel, you will be asked to provide the invoice after your journey via email.

What if my arrival / departure is outside the window provided?

Please keep us informed about it and we will try our best to see if we can accommodate your request on a case-by-case basis depending on the load of our hostel staff.

In case your departure is on 27th July (Saturday) but beyond 10am, there will be an area where you can stow your luggage. The room would have to be vacated so that it can be readied for occupancy later in the day.
